Watch with us as the Bensenville Park District
endeavors to recreate a natural systems education park for the residents of
Bensenville. Located on the site of an old retail greenhouse, the park will
feature a demonstration wetland bio-filtration / detention area, native
prairie plantings, a gazebo and educational kiosks, a playground integrated
with educational tools and events, and a porous paving design for the
parking lot. The site will be linked to nearby schools, community
facilities, and County Forest Preserves through a trail system. LandTech is
teaming with Engineering Enterprises of Sugar Grove, and Pizzo and
Associates Ecologists for the project. |
